Martin Short

Born March 26, 1950

I LOVE Martin Short.

Noteworthy

  • Three Amigos – One of my all-time favorite comedies. Short plays Ned, one of the Amigos. His physicality, wit, and delivery are all top notch in this movie. Comedy perfection.
  • Innerspace – Fantastic Voyage meets the late 80s. Martin SHort and Dennis Quiad don’t even share the same scenes that often but they have such a fun chemistry in this movie. I am looking forward to re-visiting this one.
  • Jiminy Glick – Almost horrible and almost un-loveable, Glick has the interviewing bed-side-manner of a hammer wrapped in black licorice. That being said he is a train wreck that is hard to turn away from.
  • I Must Say: My Life as a Humble Comedy Legend – This is a wonderful snapshot of Martin Short’s life. I listened to the audio version of this, which he read, if you are a fan of audio books – get this one.

I think I’m funny because my family, my siblings were funny.

Offal aint Awful

I’ll admit, it can take a brave soul to venture beyond the bounds of the culinary norm.  But eating off course and venturing into foreign territory can bring particular rewards, one of them is the oft taboo offal treat!   There are two distinct sensory memories from...
