Cobie Smulders

Born April 3, 1982

Cobie Smulders is a comedic genius. Impeccable timing, great delivery and able to hold her own with heavyweights like Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel. Did I mention she is the head of SHIELD in the MCU as well?

Noteworthy

  • How I Met Your Mother – Smulders was so incredible on this show. HIMYM was one of those shows that the ensemble was perfect and worked so well together that you could not have removed any of them. Smulders ability to step back in time as an 80s singing sensation proves her acting and comedic chops.
  • The Avengers  – Captain America: Winter SoldierAvengers: Age of UltronAgents of SHIELD – Smulders stepped onto the deck of a SHIELD Helicarrier in the MCU. Then she took over leading SHIELD when Nick Fury stepped aside. Smulders is versatile as hell.

I am learning that in life it is OK to travel in darkness, not knowing what your next move is.

To Kill a Mocking-Jay

Oh, to Kill a Mocking-Jay. A few minutes of DragonCon exposure and my mind is unfurling in ways it hasn’t since my first warehouse rave in the year 2000; a psychotropic may or may not have had something to do with the trippiness of that former experience.  Likewise,...
